Deodar Cedar Slabs
Deodar cedar is a rare wood, sometimes referred to as cedar of Lebanon, its close relative. It has a beautiful light-toned grain and a lovely cedar aroma. Each live edge slab is one of a kind, and bookmatched sets are available.
Deodar resists rot well, so it holds up in outdoor applications as well as indoors. It is a softer wood and not extremely hard, so it suits benches, mantles, shelves and accent tables best. For a dining tabletop we recommend an epoxy coat to add hardness.
